EXTENSION CONDITIONALS

In lesson number 7 and 8 of your students books we're reviewing conditional sentences types 1, 2, 3. Zero type, which we alredy took a look at last year, does not appear in the text book. I have thought it would a good idea giving you this Conditionals Chart where you have the four types with their uses and examples.

If any of you have any trouble with forming any of the conditional types find here some practice:

As an extension to conditionals ,we will be taking a look at how to express wishes and regrets.

Today you will be working some exercises on the conditionals 1,2,3. On the same paper you will find Future time Clauses with "when" and "as soon as".
Due date for these exercises is Monday 14th/05.

ANALYSING CHARACTERS

As you all know, you have been requested to hand in (June 1st) an analysis on the characters of the books you're now reading. Besides this, you must choose one  character, or more always that you support your arguments, you fell identify with and tell me why it is so.

Find here ten things you can pay attention to when analysing a character in a book. I also found very interesting the tips given in this web page.

You might find quite useful these "Character & Story Graphic Organizers" to handle your notes on characters. Besides, you can take also a look at this helpful "Sample Character Analysis Paragraph Forms"  as well as this other article on "Guidelines for Writing a Character Analysis Essay" to build up the paragraphs in your essay. I think they can be a good guide to your final paper.
