Never go to a pharmacy in an English speaking country asking for medicines for a "constipation" if your problem is a "constipado", you will get a "laxative" (that is "laxante") since "constipation" doesn't mean "constipado" but "estreñimiento". You must ask for medicines for a "cold".
Like this word there many others that seem but have not the same meaning in Spanish and English.
Find here a very complete list.

STARTER UNIT: ADJECTIVES
In the starter unit you will find a revision of general descriptive adjectives. As you already know from previous years the basic order order of adjectives with in a sentence, find here a document you might find useful, explaining you the order in which adjectives go when several of them appear at the same time in a sentence.
As you usually use mostly the same adjectives all the time, find here a link to a quite interesting web page in which you find a long list of adjectives. If you click in an adjective a new window will pop up with the translation of the adjective as well as a demonstration of its pronunciation. Cool!

2012: THE MAYAN ARMAGEDDON
There has long been speculation that on December 21, 2012, the world as we know it will end. Some predict that we'll be wiped out by a natural disaster like a giant tidal wave, an Earth-wide earthquake or a tremendous volcanic eruption. Others believe that on that day in December, the Earth will collide with a mysterious "Planet X," causing magnetic pole shifts, gravitational reversals or a black hole so big that our solar system will simply disappear.
What's more, believers say that this news is not really news at all; on the contrary, they argue, we have known about the coming apocalypse since the ancient Maya predicted and recorded it on their Long Count calendar more than 2,200 years ago.
But Mayas were not the only ones, the Egyptians, also looked into astronomy to predict future events and saw the year 2012 as the year when civilizacion will disappear.
Listen to the documentary on the Mayas' prediction for the end of the world.
Now listen to the documentary on The Egyptian's vision of the date.
